Ket-Ball: discover a unique product in the world and what it needs to get off the ground

Imagine you have an idea and you want to validate whether it can become a profitable project. Even more: think what would happen if you could do it in 12 weeks and, in addition, opt for the possibility of being chosen to launch a crowdfunding campaign. All you have to do is pre-register at Santander X Explorer. That’s what Javier Tenorio of Ket-Ball did, a project chosen by a global jury to launch that campaign with our support. “With effort and conviction, any goal is achievable,” they say.

Ket-Ball has created “a unique product in the world”, a kettlebell that transforms into a medicine ball. “Additionally, you can vary its weight,” add those in charge, so you have several tools in one. This idea (Universidad de Los Andes, Chile), however, does not stop there, as their goal is, in the future, to “include a chip that registers the movement” and manage this data through a simple app. 

The project was born to find a solution to a common problem: “Work and studies consume a large part of our energy and time and this causes many people to abandon their hobby or passion for sport“, they say. “With this unique, functional and innovative product, your workouts will be more varied”, they add.

Saving time, space, usability and low price are the main advantages that the people in charge of Ket-Ball highlight about their proposal, aimed at people who have little time or who feel uncomfortable in gyms.
