O MANIFESTO (Brazil), one of the ideas selected to receive support from Santander X Explorer, has launched its crowdfunding campaign. The project directly aligns with SDG 4 (Quality Education) by promoting experiences of development and social belonging, and with SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities) by valuing and reviving Afro-Indigenous and Brazilian culture. Now, this idea seeks the support of the community to bring its first cultural edition to life.
In its current format, O MANIFESTO is a pilot edition of a cultural event that celebrates living Brazilian identity and art through music, dance, capoeira, visual arts, and literature. The aim of this campaign is to fund this first event, covering production costs, artist fees, and infrastructure.
“Art is a living movement, and structured, professional management is the vehicle to reach more people. My motivation is to show that the richness of our culture, with the ancestral knowledge of this land, can build a collective with a strong social impact, capable of transforming people’s lives—especially those of children and adolescents—by restoring the sense of belonging and identity that art can offer. We want more hearts willing to beat together in this celebration of who we are and what belongs to us,” explains the project’s creator, Ana Clara, 32, from Brazil.
Fundraising for O MANIFESTO has already begun; here you can check the progress of their campaign and, if you wish, find out how to support it.
